3. The Morristown Green

The Alliance

Take a photo with “The Alliance” statue, which features George Washington, Alexander Hamilton and the Marquis de Lafayette meeting to discuss the French tall ships and troops King Louis XVI of France sent to support the fight for independence.

4.  Macculloch Hall Historical Museum and Garden

View an unprecedented, unique collection of original prints and drawings by Thomas Nast, the famous 19th century political cartoonist.  45 Macculloch Avenue.  Sunday 1pm – 4 pm

5. Morristown Game Vault

Play with retro video and pinball machines all set to “freeplay”; choose from over 85 games that have stood the test of time the past 35 years.  22 South Street.  Sat 10 am to 11:30 pm, Sun 10 am to 10 pm

6. Just Jersey

Shop at this unique retail shop that sells handcrafted housewares, jewelry, fashion accessories and artisanal foods – all made right here in the Garden State. 163 South Street. Saturday & Sunday: 10 am –5 pm

Historic Speedwell – Birthplace of Modern Telecommunications

Explore this National Historic Landmark which was the “Birthplace of the Telegraph”.  333 Speedwell Avenue.  Sat 10 am-6 pm | Sun Noon-6 pm | Last tour at 3:30 pm

8. Acorn Hall

Enjoy seeing the preserved mid-Victorian era furnishings, fabrics and artworks.  68 Lafayette Ave. Sunday 1 pm – 4 pm

9. Washington’s Headquarters Museum

Learn about General George Washington’s time with the Continental Army in Morristown during the severe winter of 1779-80; includes the new interactive “Discover History Center.”  30 Washington Place, Morristown.  Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

10. Fort Nonsense

11. The Morris Museum

Connect with nature through this park’s lush, flat terrain and eight miles of trails perfect for bicycling, jogging, hiking, or horseback riding (Seaton Hackney Stables are right next door).  468 South Street. Sunrise to Sunset
