Troubadour Concert Series: Heather Pierson

Heather Pierson is an award-winning pianist, multi-genre singer/songwriter, arranger, bandleader, and performer. She effortlessly shifts from New Orleans-style jazz and blues to rousing Americana and poignant folk narratives. In addition to singing and playing piano, she also plays tenor banjo, melodica and guitar. She is accompanied by Shawn Nadeau on bass and backup vocals.

Opening will be songwriter Owen Walsh, who follows in the tradition of Americana folk music, where lyrics are equal in importance to the melodies that bind them. He accompanies his songs with punchy and skillful fingerstyle guitar work. He’s performed all over the country, including Nashville, New York City, and Los Angeles.
