Travel with the Jefferson Arts Committee to Enjoy Art and Nature

Join the Jefferson Arts Committee on a bus trip to Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Reservations and full payment are due no later than Monday, September 26 – only 25 seats are left — so don’t delay.

Come to this magical place that encompasses a museum, sculpture garden, and arboretum where art and nature are always at play. At its core are nearly 300 contemporary sculptures sited across 42 landscaped acres each thoughtfully positioned on meticulously landscaped parkland full of thousands of exotic trees and flowers. Indoors, temporary exhibitions from established and emerging artists are featured in six galleries. As one of the premier cultural destinations in New Jersey, you are invited to stroll through the gardens and galleries, to pause when you feel like pausing, to look closer when something catches your eye, and above all else, to relax and unwind.

Tickets for this bus trip are $45 per person for adults and $42 per person for senior citizens 65+ only. These prices include admission to the entire venue, comfortable round-trip motor coach transportation, and driver gratuity. The bus leaves from the parking lot of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Milton/Oak Ridge, NJ promptly at 8:30 am and departs from Grounds for Sculpture at 5 pm for the return trip to Jefferson Township.

Mail your check or money order made payable to The Jefferson Arts Committee to Jefferson Arts Committee, Grounds for Sculpture, PO Box 2604, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. Call 609-584-7800 or visit www.ratsrestaurant.com Rat’s also offers a Picnic Lunch, and you can make your own reservation by contacting Colleen Suozzo at colleen.suozzo@constellationculinary.com Or enjoy a casual lunch menu at The VanGogh Café where no reservation is necessary but note that they only accept debit/credit cards – no cash.

No smoking is permitted anywhere at the venue, but the taking of photographs and videos is encouraged. The peacocks and wildlife on the grounds are tame and love to have their pictures taken from a distance! For more information about the venue, log on to http://www.groundsforsculpture.org/Visit
