Shakespeare Book Club – HENRY V

March 23 @ 7:30 pm - April 27 @ 5:00 pm

Tuesday Evenings, 7:00pm — 9:30pm EST
Beginning March 23, 2021
This program is available virtually via Zoom.

From his raucous and rabble-rousing youth, King Henry V rose to be one of England’s most beloved and celebrated monarchs. Participants will dive into three gripping plays (Henry IV, Parts 1 & 2 and Henry V) that depict the coming-of-age of this great ruler. Suspense-filled and quite compelling, these plays are peppered with richly drawn and memorable characters, including Mistress Quickly, Hotspur, Glendower, the Dauphin, and of course, Prince Hal and Sir John Falstaff! Director of Education Brian B Crowe leads the class, which includes guest speakers who will discuss the plays from their unique points of view as theatre artists. All scripts and other materials are included with the registration fee.
