Field Trip led by Dave Oster, NJ Audubon Naturalist

We’ll explore wooded trails adjacent to a large wetland area known as Rattlesnake Meadow. We’ll be looking for nesting birds like Pileated Woodpecker, warblers, flycatchers, vireos, kinglets, as well as late migrants. A Red-shouldered Hawk was spotted last year. The Meadow often has Wood Duck and Great Blue Heron. Time permitting we’ll walk the shorter trails around Rigby’s Brook.

Tourne County Park, Parking Area #3, McCaffrey Lane, Boonton, NJ 07005

$15 members, $20 non-members.
