Morris County Historical Society Welcomes Holidays
November 28 @ 12:00 am - December 19 @ 12:00 am$3 – $6
At Acorn Hall, trees are trimmed and the dining room table is set with sparkling crystal – it’s that time of year again! Morris County Historical Society has, once again, elegantly decorated Acorn Hall with all the festivities of the season and we’re ready and waiting for holiday revelers.
A traditional upside-down Christmas tree hanging in the vestibule greets visitors as they step back in time and into rooms decorated with brightly-lit trees and mantelpieces festooned with glitter and gold.
Acorn Hall visitors are invited to stop by the Gallery Gift Shop to find unique holiday presents including reproductions of maps and atlas prints, books, original Lucille Hobbie pencil sketches, and Merrill Harvey depictions of local scenes.
Holiday decorations will be on display from Sunday, Nov. 28, through Sunday, Dec. 19. Acorn Hall will be closed from Tuesday, Dec. 20, through Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. We will reopen on Sunday, Jan. 2,
