MCHS Invites Hounds for History
Bring your favorite four-legged friend to Acorn Hall for a tail-wagging good time in our gardens on Sunday, Oct. 15. The afternoon will be filled with activities for humans and canines. Seeing Eye archivist Bruce Johnson will present on the history of this world-famous organization. Your dog’s best friend can make a Victorian dog collar, so your canine can be “dressed” to have a memorable photo taken. St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center will be on-site with dogs to adopt and giveaways. The MCHS historic wood lot is fenced-in for play time with your pooch. Just make sure they are wearing their tick guard. Tours of Acorn Hall will be available for two-legged visitors only while dogs are watched by pet-friendly volunteers.
