The Morristown Festival of Books is thrilled to welcome James Patterson, the world’s best-selling author as part of the Morristown Festival of Books’ Special Closing Event! Patterson, who has sold over 300 million books worldwide, will be joined in conversation by Carol Fitzgerald of The Book Report Network.

The Closing Event with James Patterson is a ticketed event that begins at 5:15pm on Saturday, October 8th, at the end of the main festival.

About the Morristown Festival of Books

The Morristown Festival of Books brings together acclaimed authors with readers and book lovers in Morristown, NJ on October 7 and 8, 2022. Featuring 60+ in-person author talks & signings, plus crafts, music, writer’s workshops & more… there is truly something for everyone.

    • On Friday evening, October 7 at 7:30pm, there is a ticketed Keynote Event, featuring New York Times columnist, bestselling author, and Duke University professor Frank Bruni. The presentation will be followed by a short Q&A session. Get more information about the keynote here
    • On Saturday, October 8, the main festival takes place from around 10am – 5pm. Authors will speak and hold Q&A sessions in the festival venues. These author talks are free, no tickets required. Following their talks, each author will proceed to the Vail Mansion lawn to sign books under the Book Tent. Books will be for sale throughout the day at the Book Tent on the lawn.
