The Story of the Final Year of the American Civil War

Author S.C. Gwynne will talk about his latest work, Hymns of the Republic: The Story of the Final Year of the American Civil War, Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. sharp, in the Reference Wing of the Morristown and Morris Township Library. Gwynne is the author of New York Times bestsellers Rebel Yell and Empire of the Summer Moon, which was a finalist for the Pullitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award. As he lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, this is the only talk he is giving in New Jersey about Hymns of the Republic.
