Home for the Holidays Street Festival in Roxbury Township

December 7 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

This family-friendly free outdoor festival takes place on Main St. in Succasunna by the Roxbury Public Library and churches next door. Enjoy holiday shopping (80+ vendors & crafters), games, scavenger hunts and puppet shows for kids. Take a free carriage ride with jingle-belled horses. Come hungry – there will be food trucks offering a variety of menus. Both churches will have homemade treats and hot drinks for sale. Santa arrives by fire truck at 12 Noon. Visit “Santa Land” inside the Library from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, meet Santa and get photographed with him ($5.00 for photo – all proceeds go to Roxbury Social Services), do fun crafts and hear holiday book readings. Costumed characters (Elsa, Anna, Olaf) will delight your kids. Lots of live musical entertainment (including strolling carolers) will add to the festivities. Irish dancers will jig in the street. Other activities include a balloon decorated “photo booth” and face painting. Free admission. Free parking & shuttles nearby at St. Therese Church, Franklin & Roosevelt schools. Handicapped parking at 109 Main St. www.roxburynj.us/holidays
