Environmental Film Festival: The Pollinators
June 5 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm$10 – $18
Mendham, NJ – There is a buzz in the air about the 12th Annual Environmental Film Festival at Schiff
Nature Preserve on Saturday, June 5.
Bees are the focus of this year’s feature film “The Pollinators.” This award-winning documentary tells the

and unexplained mass die-off events. Bees are an important part of the food chain, pollinating a diverse
group of flowers for fruits, vegetables, and nuts. This 90-minute film follows the fascinating journey of
beekeepers as they crisscross the country visiting farms, with millions of precious bees in tow.
The Pollinators has won film-festival prizes in the United States and abroad for its gorgeous
cinematography, overall excellence and as an audience favorite.
Following the movie, attendees will hear from a guest speaker to gain a deeper understanding of the topic
and have a discussion on ways to reduce chemical use in our landscapes, plant native pollinator plants to
attract pollinators, and ultimately support honeybees.
The event takes place entirely outdoors at the Wood Badge Lodge, with socially distanced chairs, and face
