Under the Boardwalk BONJ Summer Cabaret
The music of the period 1945-1964 represents some of the greatest creativity in American music. It was the Golden Age of Broadway with musicals by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe, Leonard Bernstein, and others that have become standard musical theater works around the world. Opera composers included Gian Carlo Menotti, Samuel Barber, Carlisle Floyd, and Benjamin Britten. Popular music produced unforgettable songs that everybody still sings or dances to – be it Country, Doo-Wop, Pop, or early Rock & Roll.
Join BONJ vocalists and pianist John Pivarnik in an evening of great music. We will provide light drinks and snacks. Patrons are welcome to bring their own refreshments as well to enjoy before and during the performance in true cabaret fashion. Doors open at 7:00 PM – performance starts at 7:30 PM.
Patrons are encouraged to come in 1950s style attire and get into the spirit of the times.
This event is part of the BONJ Summer Music Festival. All Tickets are $25.
