Friends of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum

Offering classes, exhibits, concerts and volunteer assistance to the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, a property of the Morris County Park Commission.  All volunteers welcome.  The arboretum was selected by reader of NJ Monthly as the best public garden in New Jersey.

Of Special Note:

  • The Friends support the Frelinghuysen horticultural library
  • The Friends staff a year round horticultural program and “Branching Out,” a children’s gardening program
  • Their annual plant sale in May is a fundraiser for the arboretum
  • Holds an annual gingerbread house competition
