The 55-year-old Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is one of the leading classic theatre companies in the nation, and New Jersey’s only professional theatre company dedicated to Shakespeare’s canon and other world classics. They have been presenting plays at their Main Stage located on the campus of Drew University since 1972. Each summer, the Company presents a classic play on their Outdoor Stage, performed in a Greek amphitheater at the College of Saint Elizabeth.
