The New Jersey Highlands Coalition’s mission is to protect the aquifers, surface waters, forests, sensitive habitats, wildlife, open spaces, farmland, scenic vistas, cultural and historic resources, and diverse recreational opportunities found throughout the region.  The 860,000-acre New Jersey Highlands, encompassing 88 towns across seven counties, provides 6.2 million people—70% of NJ’s population—and much of its industry, with abundant, clean water.

  • Hosts events such as an annual car rally, golf outing, craft beer gatherings and pub crawls
