Grow It Green Morristown’s is a hands and hearts in the soil nonprofit celebrating fresh food and farming. Their mission is to strengthen communities with sustainable farms and community gardens that provide equal access to fresh, local food by transforming abandoned or under-utilized areas into beautiful and useful green spaces. The group works with the local community to promote physical and mental health with discovery-based learning programs for all ages.

Grow It Green grows food and community at two gardens in Morristown– the Urban Farm (31 Hazel Street) and Early Street Community Garden (17 Early Street). Check their website for ways to get involved.

3,000 students from pre-K to college visit the garden and farm each year for discovery-based learning to reconnect to nature, to where food comes from and each other.
