Alstede Farms uses sustainable and certified organic farming methods to grow 250 different types of specialty fruits and vegetables. Farmer Kurt, a Chester native and first-generation farmer, founded Alstede Farms in 1982 with the mission to grow local, healthy and nutritious food in a responsible way.

Pick you own fruits and vegetables, Community Supported Agriculture Program (CSA), the farm store, food festivals, children’s activities, farm animals, corn maze, sunflower maze, pancake breakfasts, baked goods, cider, homemade ice cream, farm camp and more.

Of Special Note:

• Every acre of the 600-acre farm is permanently preserved in the Farmland Preservation Program
• Alstede Farm’s Harvest Hall provides a beautiful, rural setting for up to 120 guests
• Options for your event include hay wagon rides, a full catered menu and a campfire
• Tents are available for rent
• You can book a separate photo event around the farm for $200
