MORRIS ARTS’ 4th Annual PUMPKIN ILLUMINATION on October 26th & 27th



The leaves are falling, the temperature’s dropping and the pumpkins are ready for carving! Bring your carved pumpkins to town and join us for what we know will be the best Pumpkin Illumination ever! Pumpkin Illumination is an evening of fun for all ages!

Boonton - Saturday, October 26, 2013 - the schedule includes the following:

5:15pm at the Boonton Holmes Public Library, 621 Main St., Boonton, NJ, bring your already carved pumpkin to the front of the Boonton Holmes Library

5:30-6:15pm Performance by Artist Robert Faust

6:15pm Pumpkin Illumination – lighting of the pumpkins

5:15pm Bring your already carved pumpkins to the reflecting pool in front of the Vail Mansion at 110 South Street, Morristown

5:30-6:15pm Performance by Artist Robert Faust

6:15pm Pumpkin Illumination

This year, in addition to the lighting of the pumpkins, international mask artist Robert Faust will present The Mask Messenger, his tour de force solo performance about masks. A mix of monologue, physical comedy and theatre, the performance explores the artistic, cultural and psychological use of masks throughout history. Vignettes range from comic to poignant to surreal. Great for audiences of all ages! The NY Times reports Robert Faust “tickles some sort of primal funny bone… hilariously hyperbolic” and Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes adds, “Totally unique. I have never seen anything like it- and neither have you.”

And, to put you in a thoroughly spooky mood, the Morris County Tourism Bureau will be offering Historic Graveyard Tours at 3:30 and 4:30 visit for tour tickets.
