The Morris County Park Commission manages the oldest and largest park system in a bucolic areas of the State. The parks offer hiking, golf, swimming and ice skating parks throughout the county. The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, was voted the “2011 Best Garden” by NJ Monthly. Mennen Arena is host to special events and public ice skating. MORRIS TWP., NJ - The Morris County Park Commission announces the selection of Billy Casper Golf (BCG) to manage the award-winning Berkshire Valley Golf Course located in Jefferson, New Jersey. A grand re-opening will be held on May 1, 2012.
Billy Casper Golf will oversee all aspects of Berkshire Valley operations, including golf course and property maintenance, sales, marketing and public relations, staffing and training, merchandising, restaurant and banquet activities, special events, and financial management.
The course will continue to be a facility of the Morris County Park Commission and an asset for residents of Morris Country. Access to the tee time reservation system remains the same for registered golfers. The new fee schedule and all pertinent information will be available on www.morrisparks.net as of May 1, 2012.

Since opening in 2004, Berkshire Valley Golf Course has earned several honors, including Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play,” ZAGAT “America’s Top Golf Courses,” and Garden State’s “Top Municipal Golf Course.”
From environmental ruin to natural preserve, Berkshire Valley Golf Course is a ‘must play’ because of the challenges and awe-inspiring view atop the ridge of the Green Pond Mountain. The topography and spectacular scenery make this course unlike any other golfing experience. This18-hole, par-71, 6,800-yard course feature a driving range, putting green, clubhouse, and golf shop with grill room dining and conference room. The PGA staff conducts private, small-group golf instruction, as well as junior camps.

Pinch Brook Golf Course, a facility of the Morris County Park Commission located in Florham Park, NJ, is an executive length course designed by the world-renowned development firm, Rees Jones, Inc. The par-54, 4,996-yard course gained three and a half stars from Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play.” While the water hazards along the majority of holes and elevated, undulating green are sure to test the skill of the most seasoned golfer, this course remains popular with seniors and holds clinics for golfers of all levels.
Sunset Valley Golf Course, located in Pompton Plains, NJ offers a variety of holes with challenging design and fast greens. Regarded as one of the best public golf courses in New Jersey, it is consistently rated four stars from Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” and one of the “Top 100 Must Play Courses” by Golf Styles magazine, with the three best finishing holes in the state, according to many golf enthusiasts.
